from this esteemed agency. This has led to my selection in 1993 to membership
on the Los Angeles Superior and Municipal Court Arbitration/Mediation Panels.
Since 1993, given my mediation training and expertise, I have successfully
mediated hundreds of disputes both through the court system and privately. I
also preside as a volunteer Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles County Court
system in Small Claims Court.
My firm concentrates in the business, commercial, corporate and real estate law
areas, performing both transactional and litigation work. I have extensive
litigation experience in State and Federal Courts as well as alternative forums
including the American Arbitration Association. This practice embraces every
aspect of litigation, including pre-trial and provisional remedies (e.g., writ
of attachment, writ of possession, receivership and injunctive proceedings),
discovery, arbitration, mediation, trial work (both jury and non-jury) and
appellate representation. This experience has focused keen attention and
awareness on the needs of clients to have properly written business documents.
It is my belief that devotion to this fundamental principle at the commencement
of the relationship minimizes the risk and scope of potential litigation, thus
allowing the parties to concentrate on positive business development. Bearing
this in mind, a considerable portion of my practice involves the negotiation
and preparation of various business agreements crafted by precise wording,
formulation and structure.
